A program handbook is valuable resource for orientation and entire year

If you don't already have a program handbook, use the resource below to help create and organize you own. Other tips:

  • Include information and forms members will use throughout the year
  • Put the handbook in a binder so information can be updated easily

This resource was contributed by Schools of Hope project (Madison, WI), a VISTA program that trains and coordinates academic tutors for low-income students and students of color in the primary grades to improve academic achievement.
