How stamps can stretch the living allowance

This sample budget shows members the difference that food stamps can make. It's used before pre-service orientation by the Ohio Benefit Bank (Columbus, OH), which is part of the Ohio Association of Second Harvest Foodbanks. The Benefit Bank includes a section on food stamps in the handbook it gives members before PSO. This AmeriCorps*VISTA program works to increase the financial stability of low- and moderate-income Ohioans by increasing access to tax credits and work support programs
