Technology and Youth Programs

Using the latest tools to engage and serve youth

"MySpace, YouTube and Blogs, Oh My!" explores how volunteer programs can use the latest Web-based technology to engage and better serve youth.

This resource was written by Erich Stiefvater of the LEARNS project at Education Northwest in Portland, OR.

LEARNS was funded by the Corporation for National and Community Service to provide training and technical assistance to projects focused on literacy, education, mentoring, and out-of-school time from 1998-2008. LEARNS was a partnership of the Northwest Regional Educational Laboratory (now Education Northwest) and the Bank Street College of Education (BSC).
