Recruiting and placing members effectively is key to successful programs. The people you select are the face of your organization. It is essential to use sound processes to find and match the best qualified applicants to your available positions.
Effective recruitment and placement ensures a rewarding experience for members, staff, clients, and partners. If you are new to AmeriCorps or VISTA, or want to improve your recruitment process, we advise that you move through the following three sections in order, beginning with the timeline in Getting Started.
